The applicants are Syrian nationals who complain that after going to Croatia to seek asylum, they were aprehended by armed Croatian officers and returned to Bosnia and Herzegovina without being allowed to submit any statement or have their situation examined by anyone. The applicants all state that they were boarded into vans and driven to the border, with the second applicant stating that he was beaten by Croatian officers, taken to a cell and was left without food or water for hours before being pushed back.
