The applicant is a Rohingya national who was seperated from his family when he was eight after a military attack on his village. After searching for international protection for many years, he spent a year in Bosnia and Herzegovnia from 2020 to 2021. During this time he was pushed back to Bosnia by Croatian authorities five times, one being a chain pushback from Slovenia. During these incidents the applicant had his shoes confiscated and his belongings burnt, and was subjected to other forms of violence.
