Border Violence Monitoring Network (BVMN) is a coalition of organisations working to document illegal pushbacks, collective expulsions and police violence at the EU’s borders since 2016. Our data collection is done by a consortium of independent voluntary field experts who are part of or cooperate with humanitarian support groups united through BVMN.

BVMN’s Submission to the 2022 European Commission’s Rule of Law Report includes an overview of current points of concern in Greece present in the judiciary system, media freedom and pluralism, institutional checks and balances, and frameworks for civil society to engage in public discourse and decision making.
