The respondents are two men, one in his 20s and another in their 40s both from Pakistan. The pushback took place on the 4th of April from Croatia to near Bihac in Bosnia.
The group consisted of 8 men, all from Pakistan, ages 20 to 45. The group started their game from Velika Kladusa on the 2nd of April and walked towards Croatia. After two days of walking they were detained by Croatian police, who took them in a van to the Bosnian border, near Bihac. They were not taken into a police station and they were not given the possibility to ask for asylum.
The respondent reported that his phones were taken away and destroyed. After that they were forced to get in a van that dropped them off in a mountain near Bihac. The responded reported that they had to walk down the mountain and after a couple of hours they got to Bihac, where they found staff from the Red Cross, who called them a taxi to go back to Velika Kladusa. Walking towards Bihac was very difficult because one of the men had a foot injury as a result of all the walking through the forest.
