On the night between 6 and 7 december, the respondent and two of his friends arrived in a truck at the border between Slovenia and Italy after a journey of 12 hours since they left from Sid (Serbia). Almost arrived at the border with Italy, the truckdriver opened the truck and let the three men out.

They were than walking towards the border with Italy when two Slovenian police cars saw them. The respondent and his friends told the Slovenian police they wanted to stay in Slovenia but the police answers they will deport them back to Serbia. Their belongings are all taken by the police, they are beaten up and their hair is cut. One of the men had a lot of hair before this incident, his friends said he looked like a girl but now he looks like a boy.

The men were asked to say their names. After hearing the last name of one of them, one police officer asked him: “why is your last name like this?” and than started another fight with him.

When the fight was finished, the three men were put in the police car and driven back to Batrovci (Serbia).
