The interviewee spent some time in a coffee shop in the city center to get internet connection. He went out on the streets and was arrested soon after by 4/5 police officers, all men, not wearing any uniforms but undercover and driving a blue van. They asked for his documents, he stated that he did not have any and that he wanted to request asylum in Croatia. Some officers answered that the asylum process was closed. He suffered no physical violence, but was pushed back via the Batrovci border crossing point and asked to get out of the vehicle and to go back to Serbia. When he asked again about asylum some officers told him “next time you come you will get asylum”. It was the 45th time he had attempted to ask for asylum.
