2 people crossed the border from Serbia to Croatia, by walking for 3 days, until they reached Vinkovci. The police caught them there, while they were hiding close to a train. They asked for asylum, and one of them declared that he was from Syria. First, the police officers answered him in a positive manner, telling him that they would give him asylum, but he just had to wait for their superior to arrive. They were brought to a police station. When they asked again for asylum, after being taken to the superior officer, they didn’t get any answer. They asked many times for asylum, without getting any answer about their case. They were put in a van, and pushed back nearby Tovarnik.
