Criminal conviction of the captain of the private vessel Asso 28 of the company Augusta Offshore for having taken a group of 150 migrants back to Libya following a SAR operation, exposing them to detention and consequently to inhuman and degrading treatment. The court found violations of Article 1151 of the Navigation Code (arbitrary landing and abandonment of persons) and Article 591 of the Criminal Code (abandonment of a minor).
