Fady is a Syrian national who fled to Germany after ISIS took over. He was granted refugee status in 2015. In November 2016 he travelled to Greece to find his unaccompanied 11 year old brother, who was last seen crossing the Evros river. He was questioned by police at a bus station, and despite having the appropriate documentation proving his refugee status, he was forcibly removed to Turkey and stripped of his documents. He has since attempted to enter Greece over 13 times to search for his brother, and has been pushed back at each attempt.
