This case concerns 19 Muslim applicants from Uzbekistan who fled to Türkiye following fear of persecution. They were granted refugee status by UNHCR. The applicants were then invited to a police station to collect rations where they were detained and deported to Iran. The Court found violations of Articles 3, 5 (1) (2) (4)
