The applicants in this case are Tunisian nationals who reached the Italian coast aboard a rudimentary vessel on
16 October 2017 when they were immediately transported to the Lampedusa Hotspot. On the 26 October 2016 the
applicants were transferred to Palermo where they were deported to Tunisia.
