All applicants in these cases are nationals of Tajikistan. They attempted to seek asylum at the Polish‑Ukrainian border crossings in
Medyka and Dołchobyczów, at least 4 times for each applicant, despite significant evidence being shown that they would be at
risk without international protection. The applicants complain that the border guards rejected their applications without regard
to their individual situations, and that the asylum procedures were inadequete.
