The respondent is a young man from Morocco. He reported on a violent incident at an informal living site near the village of Martonoš, Serbia, on April 3rd, 2023, around 10 AM. This incident involved at least 17 people aged between 19 and 40 from Syria and Morocco. 

He reported that 3 vehicles arrived at his informal living site, near the village of Martonoš, including one big van which they use to transport people, one small civilian car (a red Fiat), and one SUV (white). Inside the vehicles, there were 5 people the respondent identified as police officers, 3 of whom went into the living site. 

The respondent reported that those 3 police officers put on jackets over their uniforms, so that their officer numbers were not visible anymore. He described that he ran away but was apprehended by the 3 officers. He reported that they used severe physical violence against him: he was pushed to the floor and was kicked while lying on the floor. They particularly kicked him on his back, his legs, as well as on his head. At the time of the testimony, he had very visible bruises on his eyes and cheekbones. He also described that he and the rest of the people with him were forced by the officers to kneel on the ground and threatened with guns. According to the respondent, the officers eventually took 17 people with them, 16 of whom were taken to one of the official camps. He reported that one man was instead taken to prison - a man who was older than the others and reportedly had a disability that affected his legs.  The pictures and fingerprints of everyone evicted were taken, too. The respondent further stated that the officers stole all the money that everyone had, as well as their phones, and that they destroyed all the tents by cutting them with knives.
