The respondent is a 17 year old boy from Sudan. He reported that around 4PM on January 28th 2024, he was alone in the back of a small car, in a carpark in Calais, France. He described that, after waiting in the car for some time, 3 uniformed people that he identified as police officers opened the back door and took him out of the car. The respondent reported that the 3 officers did not communicate with him at all, other than to ask him for his mobile phone. He stated that he presented his phone to the officers, who then took it and told him to leave the carpark. The respondent recalled that he walked away from the carpark after the officers refused to give back his phone, and saw a white marked police car, that he assumed the officers had driven to arrive to the carpark.
