Man falls into the sea after being violently pushed out of the port area in Patras

The respondent is a man from Afghanistan aged between 19 and 30 years old. He testified about the violence that will be described below. 

On August 30th 2020, around 4 PM, the respondent tried to enter the port of Patras in a group of 16 people. Together, they found a fissure that allowed them to enter the port area, but they were immediately stopped by a man identified as one of the private security guards. The respondent describes him as tall, muscular, with only few hairs on his head, wearing sunglasses and a military uniform. The secuirty guard came at the group giving numerous blows with a baton to whoever was in his way. Every blow was accompanied by verbal attacks such as "fuck Afghanistan", "malaka" ("asshole" in Greek) and "I will fuck you if you try to come back" - which was addressed to the respondent who gave this testimony. The respondent showed the blows that hit him in the right arm and leg and added he fell into the sea after being violently pushed out of the port area by the aforementioned secuirty guard. The respondent said "I understand why they do not let us pass but this should not authorize them to beat us and insult us".
