The respondent was an 18-year-old young man. He reported that in the early morning of June 8th, when most people were still asleep, 2 cars of German and Serbian police arrived at the informal settlement where he stayed, near the town of Martonoš, Serbia. There were 8 police officers present.

The respondent described the officers destroying shelter items - reportedly slashed several tents - and stole people's belongings, including money, phones, and power banks. 

He described that they also used physical violence against people on the move in the area. One of the people living in the place was reportedly left with nothing but the pair of clothes he was wearing. The respondent was unsure about the number of people who were at the camp at the time of the incident, but it was estimated at 20-35.
