The respondent is a man from Afghanistan aged 19-30.
He reported that on October 19th at around 2 PM, he was inside the New Port of Patras when a uniformed man he identified as a port security guard approached him and threw him to the ground.
He described the guard as wearing a navy blue uniform with a badge on his chest. He had short brown hair and was wearing sunglasses. When he was thrown on the ground, the respondent's body hit a cement step, which caused him great pain and a big bruise with a wound on the lower side of his left hip.
He reported that, while on the ground, the officer did not leave him alone - he reportedly continued to assault him by punching and kicking his whole body. According to the respondent, some minutes went by until the respondent finally managed to escape, with a second bruise on his left forearm.
