On 20th September a group of Syrian 13 men, 3 women and 2 children crossed the first fence of the Serbian-Hungarian border. When between the two fences 2 official Hungarian police cars arrived and apprehended the whole group. The respondent and his friend were beaten with batons and kicked in the body. Everyone in the group including the children were handcuffed so tightly that it cut into the skin of their wrists. The police kept the group there for two hours before taking them to another group of officers who took pictures of the faces of the whole group.
After this, the group were taken to the official Horgos border crossing where the gates where opened and they were forced to walk back through.
