The interviewee, a man from Libya, came from Serbia by foot in a group of 4 and got apprehended by the Croatian police on Thursday, 28th of September, 2017, at about 7 pm, circa 3 km from the Serbian-Croatian border on the Croatian side near Opatovac.

One policeman asked them in English where they came from and the men replied that they were from Libya. Apart from that, the policemen talked in Croatian/Serbian. Baggage and bodies were inspected, phone messages checked, charger cables were cut off, one phone scratched.

The men were driven by car to the site of violence. All four men were asked to kneel down in a row. One electric shock was applied to the first person in the neck and to two of the following persons in their shoulder blades. They felt a palsy of body parts for 1/2-2 minutes, but suffered no permanent injuries. One person was skipped.

After the violent incident, the men walked back to Serbia.
