On the 11th of April, a group of 5 people from Afghanistan was stopped by two Romanian police officers in the city of Craiova in Romania. The respondent recalls two officers who spoke in Romanian to them, wearing dark blue uniforms and asking for their passports, which they did not have. The respondent reported that their belongings such as mobile phones, money, and backpacks were taken by the officers and the transit group was brought into a white police van and taken to the closest border crossing with Serbia, near the road 56C. Arriving there, the respondent describes how the police officers were talking in a rude and aggressive way to the group in Romanian. Afterward, they were forced to cross over the border to Serbia. Their belongings were not given back to them. One of the officers observed their movement with binoculars, the respondent remembers. Back in Serbia, the group walked for several days until they reached Belgrade.
