The respondent is a 32 year old woman from Morocco, who was pushed back from Hungary to Serbia with a group of 11 people: 3 women and 9 men, all Moroccans, aged between 20 to 35 year old.

According to the respondent, the group walked from Palić all the way to Horgoš, carrying a ladder with them. Once arrived in Horgoš, they crossed the Serbian-Hungarian border, but after 100 m they were reached out by 7 people – 5 men and 2 women - wearing dark blue uniforms and carrying Hungarian police badges.

The respondent reports that the people in uniforms undressed the men part of the transit group, they cut their clothes and made a rope out of them. The respondent further recalls that the men in the group were beaten by the people wearing uniforms with an iron stick.

After beating them, they used the rope made with the clothes to tie the group by their hands. Then, reportedly, the officers started to force them to walk, while still tied up, pushing the respondent and behaving in a despicable way, especially against her. The respondent had an asthma inhaler with her, and one of the men in uniform started provoking her saying: "Oh you're ill, oh poor you. We don't want you here".

The respondent states that some of their phones were destroyed by the officers, and she recalls that at some point she saw a drone above their heads, that she though was liked with the authorities’ operation.

Reportedly, the group was released after 3 hours and they walked since the spot they were apprehended in -100 m into Hungarian territory- back to the Serbian side.
