On the 19th of March 2022, four people from Pakistan and India were caught by what the respondent claims were Croatian police; they were beaten and searched, and sent back to Bosnia without giving them the possibility to ask for asylum in Croatia. The respondent claims he and the other three people started their 'game' from Bihać on the 16th of March 2022; they walked for four days. It took them a long time to cross the border because the path was very steep and they were going very slowly. They struggled a lot during their hike. On the 19th of March, the respondent reports that the group was caught by Croatian police inside Bijelo Potoci Kamensko Park, at 1 p.m. As the respondent says, there were 4 policemen in civilian clothes. "They asked us where are we from. We answered 'Pakistan' and 'India' and they beat us. They used a stick and they beat us on our legs. We asked for asylum, they said 'it's not possible here'." The respondent affirms that after beating them, the police made a call, and after three hours of waiting, two more officers driving a white van arrived. They were wearing black uniforms. "They bad-checked us everywhere, without clothes, luckily they only stole our power banks." The respondent says the first four policemen left, and the two new policemen drove the four people inside the van for three hours, and they were shaking the car continuously. After that, the group was deported close to Kulen Vakuf. They didn't have food so they asked other organizations to give them a ride to the closest city, but finally, no one arrived.
